Rural Development Programmes in India

“India lives in villages” a true line quoted by Mahatma Gandhi because even today more than 60% of Indians lives in the rural area. The people residing in rural areas deprived of comfort and convenience of urban areas like modern amenities, easy transportation, power supply, well directed education system, fully fledged employment opportunities, compatible health services and many more. The economic development of the country is directly correlated with rural development because the majority of the population lives there.

DLF Foundation is prevailing social and economic activities crafted to improve the standard of living in rural areas of India. Village Cluster Development Programme is specifically designed for rural areas where every cluster is allotted one primary health care centre, Inoculation, Fumigation, Eye camps and mulch-specialty health camps are organized periodically, scholarship programmes for meritorious students, rural mobile library to develop reading habits and making books available to rural children, availing employment opportunities to literate people. The program is implemented proficiently and executed flawlessly in rural underdeveloped areas.
